Women in Cyber: an insight
Cyber Security :

Fact 1 : It’s growing incredibly fast.

Fact 2 : Faster than new people can enter the field.

Fact 3 : Women only make up 11 % of this field to begin with.

Fact 4 : If you become a part of this field, you will never be bored. Or broke.

Fact 5 : You don’t need to be a self-taught hacker genius with a dark past (or even a Computer Science Bachelor) to become a part of it.

Join us next Tuesday at 18:30 in EPFL's SV1717 auditorium to meet two women who are.

Patricia Egger is a Cyber Risk Senior Consultant with Deloitte, and the person in charge of the company’s « Women in Cyber » initiative. She can answer any questions you have about the ins and outs of working in cyber security.
Her colleague Stephanie Fingerhuth works as a penetration tester. She can give you a real-life insight into the life of a « legal » hacker. And then you can tell your friends you know a hacker.

Also, there will be tacos.
