EVENT POSTPONED

With the current pandemic situation, we are sorry to announce that the DHX2020 will be reported to a later and safer time during the year. EPFL has recently announced some new regulations preventing the hosting of events on the campus. Even if such regulations did not prevent the DHX from happening, we still think it is better for everyone's health to avoid taking part in any social gathering, which is unfortunately what the DHX is about.

Be assured that the event is NOT cancelled, just postponed. We have poured a lot of work and passion into making this year’s edition the best possible, and we do not want this work to go to waste. The event will come back, stronger and better than ever.

Welcome on the website of the swiss digital humanities exchange, an event organized by dhelta UNIL-EPFL, the digital humanities students and researchers association at UNIL and EPFL.

Digital humanities in Switzerland is bigger than we might think: labs working on this field exist in Fribourg, Neuchâtel, Bern, Basel, Lausanne and dhelta is planning to bring together students and researchers to broaden our perspectives and form academic relations.

We don't want to stay behind our desk and a pile of scientific articles!

Why are we doing this?

• to discover fellows working in the field of digital humanities at different swiss universities

• to present ourselves and our work outside our digital humanities institute or lab

• to discuss about common scientific interests with people around the corner

• to contribute to a digital humanities community in Switzerland

_call & _registration

Master, doctoral students, postdoc, and professors are welcome!

You are free to join for one day or both, you are also encouraged to make a firing talk.

A small participation fee (20CHF) will be asked if you want to attend the event, but everything else including food, accommodation and transportation tickets are taken care by us.
